Poor Porter

We were at tee ball yesterday and Porter was playing in the in field when a boy smacked the ball off the tee and it was a straight, line drive right to his nose.

The poor kid, he was bleeding all over the place.

His little nose is just fine and he doesn't even have black eyes. Which is a supprize because you heard the bat ping the ball then there was a definate SMACK. I felt so bad for him. But he was tough, didnt even cry and when the bleeding stopped he was right back in the game.

He is such a little man. I love him.

I was not a horrible mom to stop and take a picture in the moment, but now i wish i had:)

Rykers funny story

We were in the car, just getting home from visiting Papa and as we pull into the garage to go into the house Ryker throws his movie player and I says that was not nice you will break it. I am going to take it away now. I go up stairs.

Brian tells him, now I am not going to bring up your truck because you are breaking your things. Ryker says back to him, " but I says that I was sorry, and It wasn't my fault I accidentally pushed the throw it button on my shirt."
Brian, "your throw it button?"
Ryker "ya, see" as he pushes a invisible button on his shirt pocket, and throws the ball that was in his hand.

Party time
Brian's family came over Saturday it was so much fun. The kids always have a blast. I made tacos and Brian made Hamburgers. The burgers were a hit!

I loved this The kids brought porter a new watch he was so excited and he tells Olive thank you for this watch and she says my mom paid for it. LOL

I can't believe my little man is 6! holy cow that is so big. we had so much fun having all our family over and were even lucky to have the Greenwood's join us. it was a fabulous weekend, with way too much yummy food and fun.

TEE BALL

Porter is playing Tee-ball this summer.

All the little kids are so cute, it is like cluster ball they all chase after the grounders to be able to throw it back to first, sometimes it even ends up in a fight.

Porter is very athletic, he was sliding into bases and he is able to hit, and catch

RAINY DAYS

We have had the wettest spring that I have ever had here in Logan, it has made everything so beautiful and green and lush.

However, this is what happens when you have to wait for the bus and didn't bring a rain jacket. Good thing Daddy is always prepared : )

Porter always gets so excited to be the first in the bus line. He did not want to miss his spot so instead of waiting the the warm truck with Brian and Ykee he was out in the rain, holding the first spot. Other days of waiting for the bus we will be to late for the first spot but the super cute kids of the neighbor hood that are older will let the cute porter the Kindergartner "butt" in line.
