Christmas day

They were so excited to open the present from aunt Buffy. That was one of the first they opened. It was just too tempting sitting under the tree for more than a week and it was defiantly well worth the wait!! Thanks BUFF

We had such a great day Porter got a guitar and Lego's, which I love. I played with them all Christmas morning. Brian says that is what he will get me next year! and Ryker got Iron man and Shredder, from TMNT. he always love the villains. he he. After presents from Santa we all got ready and had a wonderful day at Grandma Jane's with good food and fun.

Christmas Eve Night

The loot that santa got at our house. Water and Milk Chocolate chip cookies and Sugar and a loaf of bread to take to Mrs. Clause. It was waiting for him right at the top of the stairs. Because obviously he would be coming in from the garage!

This is the note that porter wrote to santa this year.

Dear Santa thanks Santa for coming to our house Love Porter and Ryker.

and then ryker signed his name at the bottom in Green. (cute)!

We took the boys to go and see the lights in SLC this year it was so much fun. after the lights we took them for the first time to Crown Burger!

At our ward Christmas party Santa came and the kids were just soooo excited! they had the best night ever.

Just today I asked Ryker, do you know who's birthday we celebrate on Christmas? and he says in a whisper SANTA... I said no we are celebrating Jesus birth. he pauses for a minute and then he looks at me and says.....

WHAT JESUS AND SANTA ARE COMING TO TOWN?

Oh Christmas Tree

I put my tree up two days before thanksgiving this year and i love it. I found the Poinsettias and I just think they add just enough bling to the tree. The tree has been steadily drinking a couple quarts each day and so we are hoping that it will stay alive for the next 20 days. Brian had to hunt the tree down, seeing that it was so far in advance but I have to say that he chose a wonderful one. I think it almost looks fake because it is so perfect.

THANKSGIVING

i cooked the Thanksgiving turkey this year. I have to say I did pretty good. I was so proud of myself. I made a turkey,first time by myself, and a ham. they both turned out fabulous. I make mashed potatoes and gravy, the gravy was not go great. stuffing again not so great, two trays of rolls that were wonderful and a batch of bread and it was amazing. I got new yeast and the loaves were ginormous. for the first time I made bacon chestnuts and they were a hit.

We had such a great holiday we had a Stretch your pants out before thanksgiving dinner, something that I would like to keep as a tradition. We cooked for like 20 people that night and served bacon cheese potato soup and ham and cheese sandwiches. Then of course thanksgiving dinner the next day.

I am so thankful for every blessing that I receive each and everyday. I love my family to pieces!

trip to washington

This was our last trip to Washington. very last minute planning, but we had sooooo much fun. Dad took us out on the boat, to do some fishing, Porter is used to going to the trout farm here so when we did not catch a fish in the first 10 seconds he was pretty bummed. He is going to be quite the little sportsman. He is so excited to go hunting someday and he loves to fish. so he love to be out on the boat. Ryker was my little marsh mellow boy he was so big with that silver coat and life jacket I could barley wrap my arms around him he was so cute. He fell asleep pretty much the whole time we were on the boat. the funny part was that after he says to me it is all my fault we did not catch any fish cause I was sooo loud I scared them all away.

The kids had the best time playing with each other. They were making up some game and this one ended with the kids out on the dirt hill and Poor ryks got in all the pokeys he had thorns all over on his bum, they were so bad, just covered him all down his pants. he was crying and so I picked them all off and he was still so sad so he went to get jammies and stayed inside.

One morning brian me and the boys went with Buffy and Bo to breakfast. It was so much fun. The kids liked it and I was thinking that was the best part of the trip.

Ryker was so tired, porter was sick so he was sleeping with us and ryker had this queen size blow up bed all to him self and the only part that he was using was for his feet, the rest of him was on the floor.

Last night me and the boys were sitting around and I was flipping channels and I came across Supernanny. I told the boys you want to see little kids that are naughty and have to have someone called the SUPERNANNY come and make them behave? the kids were scared to DEATH!!! They now call her the children police and are terrified that she is going to come to our house. Ryker is convinced that she hits the kids with her umbrella!!! :) it was too funny listening to the kids, talk about the nanny. Ryker says I am a good boy she wont come for me but she will have to come and fix Porter. Porter says yeah cause I am on the naughty list and Santa isn't going to give me any presents. I said yeah you better change and start to be a good boy hu, so you can get some.

So every time Ryks did anything last night he kept asking am I on the BAD LIST now. hahaha. Porter told me mom, does Santa hear everything that we say even when we whisper? I said yes that is why it is so important to mind. He says good cause I whispered that I was going to be a good boy now. How sweet!

Halloween

We had the funnest time dressing up this year, and brian and I joined the fun. I loved it!!! I was laughing the whole night seeing Brian with this gigantic fro. hahahaha. He was such a great sport. The kids had a blast and they got tons of candy. I knew that the candy had to go away after Porter woke me up before 5:00 am the morning after to ask for candy out of his bucket. I ended up throwing it out a couple days later, that was all Porter and Ryker were eating, Porter asked me where did the candy bucket go and I said dont you remember you ate it all and he says wow I am a candy pig. thats funny!!!:)

Ryker just enjoying some cartoons. He now tells in that cheetos are healthy for breakfast. :)

aggie football

Ryker is truely my child where ever we go he ENJOYS his food. :) We got to go the the aggie football game and THEY WON!!! the kids loved it. It makes me way excited for Basketball season.

CATCHING UP

This is what I found one day when I came into the living room. My kids love Man Verus WILD with bear grylls and so this was them reinacting the show. "rock climbing" on the sofas you got to love the helmets

Ykee turns 3

RYKER WAKES UP. Good morning birthday boy. He started the day so grumpy, we were going to wait to have him open presents till he was in a better mood.

Presents: he was a lucky duck Buffy sent him the coolest spider man outfit ever. He says "its what I always wanted."

First day of Preschool. He is going to Montessori. He has loved it so far. He got to take treats to his first day of school cause it was his Birthday.
