Last but not least!!!

After much work our apartment is finally done. We had students move in at the beginning of the week to start school at the university. These are the pictures of the final project. I think that it looks so great!!! Brian gets another A++!!!! The students are excited to live in this brand new house, Heck I would have loved to live there Brian decked it out with a flat screen TV, leather couches two refrigerators, and beds. IT IS SOOOO NICE!

First Apartment Story!!

The Final inspection came and the inspector tells Brian that the entire basement staircase has been built wrong! It did not meet code. So Brian had to take a whole Saterday and tear out the wrong stairs and put in the right stairs. POOR GUY! But he did a nice job. Don't they look nice?

Back to school

Porter went back to school this week. He was so excited to go and see all his friends from last year. He loves his school, teachers and friends.

This is a picture of Porter at school doing art work.

Porter gets out of school at 12:30 each day and Ryker and I get in the stroller and walk to go and get him Ryker loves being pushed and Porter walks about half way about a mile before he gets in the cart to ride too.

CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST??

So while we have been in the "CONDO" I have been going to the laundry mat 2 times a week to keep up on our cloths. BUT, today it feels like CHRISTMAS AT MY HOUSE!! I got a brand new whilpool!!! YIPPY! You all have no Idea how wonderful this is I am so so extreamly excited It was delivered about noon and I have already started laundry in it!! :)

FUNNY LAUNDRY DAY STORY

So Brian, Porter, Ryker, and myself all go to the laundry mat, Yes the whole family is there, and you notice the laundry aids machine well it has all sorts of different laundry detergents in it and softeners and such well Porter is playing with the little nob that chooses the LAUNDRY AID and then pulls the lever and he got one out he was so excited that he got one so he tried again and again and again and he ended up emptying the entire row of TIDE I probably had 20 boxes. So I bagged them up and then After he had all his fun I called the emergency number and let the owner know that we had all his TIDE the we didn't pay for and that we will return them when he calls back. So they never did call but the next time I was at the Laundry mat one of the workers was there and I gave him the tide. And they gave me a $1.00 Reward (in quarters) for being honest and returning the Tide

YARD WORK

We love being able to work on our house!!! It has been on the back burner for a little bit, while we have been working on all our other projects but, soon things will be coming to a close. So in the meantime we like to spend the weekends in the yard and everyone has a great time. For Brian working on the yard or the garage is a huge stress relief. The kids an I more or less play while Brian does all the hard work. But we figure we are helping him relieve his stress:)!!! We are all enjoying these last sunny and warm days the cold will be coming sooner than we know it.

Cache county fair!

MY kids LOVED the fair, especially the rides at the carnival. Our friends alway put up a coke stand at the fair and Porter really enjoyed helping out at the food stand too. He was so cute taking orders and money, he is a born sales man

RYKER JUST LOVES TO CHILL WITH HIS MIMI!!!!

Photography!!

I was down loading all my pictures (I am a bad blogger there is alot I have to post) and I came across this picture. Porter is always taking my camera and taking pictures! He is so funny. This is his scooter he loves it

Our Project, Our House!

This land started out as just a poor ,sad, little gravel pit of a revien. It was pretty much an eye sore (I need to get all the before pics so you can see what we have done with it) and then we bought it and look at what it has become. I call it a work in progress because we have owned it for 4 years and this is what we have done. All the excavating was the biggest part. but the lot is ready and now we are building out shop. There is an apartment, well that is what I call it, but it is bigger than our last house, above the shop, and that is where we will be living and I think that we will like it so much that we might now ever build the house that we have once planned.

These are the pictures of some of the landscaping we have not planted any foilage yet but the grass has been in for about a year and we planted like 10 trees last year as well.

You will notice how steep it is the road is an 18% grade and EVERYONE that has been up talks about how horrible that is going to be in utah winter. Brian is up for the challenge he has the cutest little kabota tractor that he bought from out friends and he is excited to take care of it. I told him if I can't get out in the winter he is not doing his job! hahahaha

This is the shop work in progress being framed.
